Petrosains | On Tight Budget

Had another awesome outing with my best buds from Uni.
At first we wanted to go to Zoo Negara,
But my friends were on a tight budget,
So after (a long discussion), we decided we would just go and "hang" in KLCC park.

And so we had our lunch in Connaught,
Then head on to the LRT station.
There we sung the most epic version of Friday + Coconut song.
(ignore that part)

When we reached Suria KLCC,
We went to check the price for the Petrosains,
Since me and Revy have never went before. =p
It was only RM12 per adult, so why not?
Beats doing nothing under the sun for the whole day.
XD Hehehe, We then waited for Billy to arrive, and we head on inside together.
And we got a 20% discount with our student ID! *wheeeee*

The ticket lady told us that the tour would take about two and a half hours.
"Would that be okay?" 
Then we went, "Errrrrrr. Boleh lah.. Tengok tengok saja" 
(Erm, it's fine. We're just here to look around)

Little did we know the 2 1/2 hour tour would turn into 4 hours!
We ended up spending the whole afternoon inside Petrosains.
With loads of fun and laughter. And the place is awesomely big too!

If you're a person of Science then this is the place for you!
(no age limit, but there might be O.O stares when you are having fun with the stuff)
[JUST IGNORE THEM and have a blast!]

FYI, the Petrosains includes various zones,
Like the Geotime Diorama, SPEED, Molecule Nano World, Space, Exploration, Petrojaya, Sparkz, and more! 
We keep bumping into secondary school teenagers,
(fighting to play the stuffs with them)
Eesh, respect the elderly!  =p

- Valentine's Day with UCSI Friends -

It's not too late to wish u a Happy Valentine right? =)

Well, me and my friends from UCSI wanted to celebrate V day together,

And I had plans with my boyf on the next day which was a holiday, (YAY!)

Well neways,

It was a ridiculous trip.

Planning to have steamboat at Hoi Tong since like.. forever??

And we finally did it!

Let me tell you how. LOL

My Malaysian Studies class got cancelled,

I was actually free for almost 4 hours before we meet up to go for dinner.

So I had to crash in Revy's place along with Billy.

And we just chit chat about stuff,

ESP si Goddess.

(Long story about someone that is soo... erm.... hard to handle)

Damdeedum.

Clock struck 5.30pm

So Revy, Billy and me met up with Sinly (whom we call Ah Lai now)

And headed downstairs to meet up with Alvin, Joshua and his girlf. =)

Was way fun,

In two cars we went off SEARCHING for the steamboat place.

Yes, we didn't actually know where it was.

At least I tried and google it. XD

(I love google even though he makes me feel stupid)

Joshua's car was in front cause he said he will lead us to South City.

And I can handle the rest from there (with a lot of hesitation, we finally agreed)

Then the lucu-est thing happened.

We went alllllllllllll the around the back lane to avoid the traffic in Cheras.

We failed terribly with the idea.

Not only it was twice the distance,

There was also traffic.

To make things worse, we missed the ramp to South City.

I know right, totally WTF! hahahha

So in the end we had to go back to Tasik Selatan to make a U-Turn

(That was exactly the road that we wanted to avoid in the first place)

Ridiculous right. hahhaha

By the end of the one and a half hour journey,

Alvin's car was in front, and Joshua was following at the back,

And I was leading them to South City via my house.

I was incredibly unsteady the whole way through it.

Revy has pictures to prove it. LOL

In the end, we DID reach the place,

At around 7.40pm (luckily i made reservation with Revy's help).

=) Thank goodness we had a table, 

The cold, the stress of getting lost, and the time wasn't on our side,

HUNGRY BETUL.

So there it is,

Our Valentine's Day of 2011.

A Valentine's to remember.

The ironic thing was,

We were listening to Bruno Mars's song, Marry You. in Alvin's car.

And the lyrics went,

"It's a beautiful night, we're looking for something dumb to do..."

And yes, getting lost in KL is dumb but defnitely FUN !!! =)
